Dental Examination and Consultation.

Our dental consultation helps you find the right dental services to meet your specific needs and expectations. During the consultation, we will tell you more about the high-quality services and advanced treatments we offer. If you decide to become one of our patients, we’ll provide a new patient examination to establish your dental needs and how we can improve your oral health.

If we recommend a certain procedure you would like to learn more about, Dr. Gabot-Heyman can explain the procedure. She will help you to make the best choices for your oral health and your other priorities.

We can arrange a consultation for any of the dentistry services we offer. If you would like to improve your smile, Dr. Gabot-Heyman can discuss your cosmetic dentistry options. At this appointment, we can discuss costs, and your options for payment and financing as well.

The appearance and health of your smile are important for your self-esteem and overall health. We want to help our patients make choices that work for them, and we can present all of your options as part of planning your treatment.

Dental X-rays.

X-rays, also known as radiographs, are an essential part of any dental care treatment plan. They are diagnostic, but they can also be preventative. Radiographs enable Dr. Gabot-Heyman to diagnose potential oral care issues in a patient’s mouth before they become a major problem.

X-rays are divided into two main categories, intraoral and extraoral. Intraoral is an X-ray that is taken inside the mouth. An extraoral X-ray is taken outside of the mouth. Ocean Ranch Dental offers both types of X-rays.

It is recommended to take annual check up X-rays. These X-rays allow dentists to:

  • Find cavities
  • Look at the tooth roots
  • Check the health of the bony area around the tooth
  • Determine if periodontal disease is an oral care issue
  • See the status of developing teeth
  • Evaluate Pathology
  • Monitor good tooth health
